Good Food Things Part 2

I’m taking another moment to appreciate Good Food Things — sensations, flavors, and experiences that make food enjoyable for me!

  1. We are on our third homemade sourdough loaf, and feel like we are starting to catch on. We upped the whole wheat flour content and baked for an extra few minutes, which resulted in a thicker crust and a more caramel colored crumb. Slicing open a loaf and liking what you see on the inside is *chefs kiss*.
  2. A chef friend taught me how to use fish sauce and hot sauce on roasted potatoes and I promise you the sour and spicy combination is not to be missed.
  3. I usually reserve parsley for dressing pasta or meat, but also have found it adds a nice pop of brightness on salad!
